This hand-made magnetic rosewood chess set comprises of the hinged chess box, which opens up to form the playing board (magnetic) of approximate size 16" x 16". Inside the box are stored the magnetic hand carved Staunton chessmen. The box is lined (inside) with foam inserts for storage of the chess pieces. The chess men's king stands about 3-3/8" tall, and it's base width is slightly over 1-5/8" wide.
