This hand-made magnetic rosewood chess set comprises of the hinged chess box, which opens up to form the playing board (magnetic) of approximate size 12 ” x 12”. The playing squares on the box/board measure 1-1/4"x1-1/4". Inside the box, are stored the magnetic hand carved Staunton style chessmen. The king stands about 2.5" tall, and it's base width is slightly over 1" wide.The inside of the box is lined with foam inserts for storage of the chess pieces.
