This hand-made magnetic rosewood/boxwood chess set comprises of the hinged chess box, which opens up to form the playing board (magnetic) of approximate size 18" x 18". Playing squares on the board are of 1-7/8" x 1-7/8". Inside the box are stored the magnetic hand carved Staunton chessmen. The king's height is approximately 3.75" with a base width of about 1.5". The inside of the box is lined with foam inserts for storage of the chess pieces.
