This hand-made rosewood/boxwood chess set comprises of the hinged chess box, which opens up to form the playing chess board of approximate size 18” x 18". Inside the box are stored the hand carved Staunton chessmen which fit into the individual cutouts of the foam lining. The chessmen feature the king standing 4" tall and having a base width of 1-7/8".
